About me
With over 11 years of experience as a licensed therapist and substance abuse counselor, I offer a holistic, client-centered approach to help you manage challenges related to Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Life Transitions, Relationship Problems, Stress, Trauma/PTSD, Substance Abuse, and more.
Hello, and welcome! My name is Jen Francke, and I’m a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 11 years of experience. I believe that everyone faces challenges that can feel overwhelming at times, and there is no shame in seeking support when needed. My approach is holistic and integrative, blending trauma-informed, client-centered methods with effective therapeutic techniques. My training as a yoga teacher also enhances my practice, incorporating mindfulness and self-awareness to foster emotional and mental well-being. Whether you are seeking individual therapy or substance abuse treatment, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to heal and grow. I offer in-person sessions in Omaha and telehealth services across the states of Nebraska and Iowa, with affordable self-pay rates for those without insurance.
I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique journey, and I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet your needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thought patterns, EMDR for trauma healing, Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite your story, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to increase psychological flexibility, and Solution-Focused Therapy to emphasize strengths and practical solutions. I also use Behavioral Activation to combat depression and incorporate mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and self-care practices to manage stress and build resilience. I am proud to support the LGBTQ+ community, and I specialize in treating Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, Stress, Trauma, and Substance Abuse. I also work with clients who are adjusting to new life circumstances, struggling with distressing life experiences, and having emotional struggles. Feel free to reach out to learn more about how we can work together to achieve your goals and create a healthier, more balanced life.
