About me
Experienced Counseling for Adolescents, Adults, Military Families, and Church Workers/Families– Helping You Navigate Life’s Stressors with Compassion and Care.
Since grade school, I’ve felt called to counseling because I’ve always believed in the power of being truly heard. Sometimes, having a safe space to talk through life’s challenges can bring clarity, healing, and hope. My goal is to provide that space for you.
Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Reaching out for support is a courageous act, and I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. I offer a balance of compassionate listening, practical guidance, and gentle challenges that encourage growth and lasting change. My goal is to help you build the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges independently while knowing support is available when you need it.
I work with teens and adults throughout California, Nevada, and Texas, helping clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges. My professional experience includes schools, outpatient settings, and private practice, allowing me to support individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life stages. My approach is eclectic and personalized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and client-centered techniques because I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs.
As the daughter of a pastor, the wife of a pastor, and someone actively involved in ministry, I have a deep understanding of the unique joys and challenges faced by church workers and their families. Ministry can be incredibly meaningful, but it can also feel isolating at times. I provide a confidential space to process ministry-related stress, family concerns, personal struggles, boundaries, burnout, and the complex ways personal life and ministry often intersect.
For clients in the East Bay (94513), I also offer Walk & Talk Therapy. This approach allows us to take our conversations outdoors, combining the benefits of movement, nature, and traditional therapy. Many clients find that walking side-by-side helps reduce stress, improve mood, ease symptoms of anxiety and depression, and create a sense of perspective and grounding.
If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
