About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) who has experience helping teens, young adults, and adults through depression, anxiety, addiction, substance abuse, grief/loss, trauma, and other life experiences.
I provide person-centered, trauma-informed therapy to teens, young adults, and adults, with an emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, trust, empathy, and collaboration. I believe effective therapy begins with understanding each individual within the context of their unique experiences, strengths, relationships, and circumstances.
My approach is individualized and collaborative, with the goal of helping clients develop greater insight, strengthen coping strategies, process difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns at a pace that feels appropriate for them.
As a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), I have specialized training in integrating creative interventions into the therapeutic process. When appropriate and based on client preference, art-based interventions can be incorporated to support emotional expression, self-exploration, processing of experiences, and development of coping skills. No prior art experience or artistic ability is required.
My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, young adults, and adults across a range of treatment settings, including residential treatment, substance use treatment, and crisis services. These experiences have provided me with the opportunity to support individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, life transitions, and challenging circumstances.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and work to meet each client where they are while supporting them in identifying their goals and developing the tools and insight needed to move forward.
I am available for a brief 15 minute consultation phone call! I see clients via virtual/telehealth sessions, as well as in person sessions!
