About me
I’m a licensed marriage & family therapist & licensed professional counselor with over a decade of clinical experience working w/ couples, families and individuals. Please call/text me directly to schedule 281-944-8218
With over a decade of clinical experience, I specialize in working with busy individuals, couples, and families who value discretion, efficiency, and meaningful, results-driven care. My practice is fully virtual, offering a seamless, secure, and highly personalized online therapy experience designed to integrate effortlessly into even the most demanding schedules.
Grounded in a systemic, relational approach, our work focuses on identifying and shifting the patterns that influence your relationships, decision-making, and overall well-being. I work with clients navigating complex concerns, including communication breakdowns, conflict, divorce discernment, marriage preparation, trauma, anxiety, depression, and fertility-related experiences.
For couples, therapy is focused on restoring connection, strengthening communication, and resolving conflict with clarity and intention—without the added strain of coordinating in-person appointments. For individuals, our work provides a confidential space to process stress, manage internal pressures, and develop sustainable strategies for both personal and relational success. When appropriate, individual sessions may be incorporated to support the broader goals of couples or family work.
Virtual therapy also offers a level of efficiency that aligns with the demands of a full schedule. Rather than dedicating several hours to commuting, waiting, and attending an in-person appointment, sessions are a focused, intentional hour—allowing you to access high-quality care without disrupting your day.
My style is collaborative, strategic, and highly tailored. I approach therapy as a professional partnership—one that respects your time, values your insight, and is focused on producing meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are structured yet conversational, offering both depth and direction within a calm, nonjudgmental environment—all from the privacy and convenience of your preferred setting.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Family, Couples, and Individual Psychotherapy from Our Lady of the Lake University–San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. I have been board certified to provide online therapy services since 2017—well before the COVID-19 pandemic—bringing extensive experience in delivering secure, effective, and high-quality telehealth care. I work with couples, individuals, families, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
This is a private-pay, limited availability practice. Choosing private pay allows for a higher level of discretion and flexibility, as your care is not directed or restricted by insurance requirements. In most cases, a mental health diagnosis is not required and will not become part of your permanent health record unless you specifically request it.
For clients who prefer to utilize out-of-network benefits, I can provide a detailed, insurance-ready receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Whether you are navigating a high-stakes relationship decision, managing the pressures of a demanding career, or seeking to strengthen important connections in your life, virtual therapy offers a focused, confidential, and efficient path forward—without compromising quality or depth.
To schedule, call or text me directly at 281-944-8218 or email therapy@talking2jennifer.com.
I look forward to hearing from you!
