About me
I am an experienced play therapist who is committed to helping your child fulfill their potential and you to feel successful as parents.
Big emotions, runaway worries, frequent outbursts, and difficulty focusing —it's so hard to watch your child struggle. So how do you know what to do as a parent? Trying to sort through all of the advice out there is overwhelming and there's no quick fix manual. Meanwhile, your child isn’t getting better. One week, things seem a little easier; the next, you’re back to square one. It’s painful to watch your once-happy child change to the point you hardly recognize them. You love them more than anything and want them to have all the opportunities they deserve, but it’s getting harder to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and a fellow parent, and I’m here to help. I’ll work with you and your child to help them understand and control their emotions, express them appropriately, and grow into a resilient, happy teen and adult. We’ll use playful, brain-based approaches that keep them engaged as they learn to handle life’s challenges.
Let’s get to work so your family can enjoy a calmer home environment, better behavior at school and in social settings, and stronger relationships with peers and other adults. You’ve been waiting for the right time to act. These years set the stage for their future, so now is the time. Give me a call, and we’ll start right away with a free consultation.
