About me

I have worked with a diverse range of individuals with many different concerns. I have experience working with adults presenting with or diagnosed with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use/dual diagnosis, bipolar and borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and eating disorders. I also have experience working with couples and families with children ages 13 and older. I have experience working with adolescents ages 12 and up.

Thank you for being here, it takes a lot of strength just thinking about reaching out for help.

I am a current Masters level clinician, meaning I am enrolled in school and under supervision of a licensed counselor.

I typically like to bring a person-centered approach to therapy, allowing you to set tone for what you would like to work on. You are the professional in your own life, and I am here to guide you with tools, education, and support. I also appreciate utilizing other theories or methods within this to help us better understand your story, things like parts work (part of IFS), somatic based approaches like mindfulness and being aware of how the body is feeling. I lean on Adlerian centered techniques at times when exploring goal planning and how to identify and explore strengths. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of genuine connection. I strive to bring honesty and warmth into every therapeutic relationship, knowing that when clients feel truly seen and understood, meaningful growth can begin to take root.

In my personal time, I find joy and grounding where I can, but mainly in my home. I love spending time with my family, including my 2 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, reading mystery or fantasy novels, and painting as a creative outlet. I find a lot of joy in curating a comforting space and hope to carry that into future sessions.

I am available Tuesday-Thursday and have a variety of open slots to choose from. Please feel free to reach out to our intake line at (612)223-8898 and request me by name to get on my schedule.
