About me

I am a holistic Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist with a focus on somatics, self-compassion and mindfulness. I operate from an intersectional, social justice-driven lens and work with individual adult clients.

Welcome! I provide individual therapy focused on understanding and building upon your inner strengths and resources so you can reach your goals. I enjoy working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief and other life transitions using an eclectic, client-centered and holistic approach. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental and collaborative space where you can explore patterns in your life and the parts of you that may be protective as well as harmful. If you want to build more self-compassion and reduce harm while still honoring the noble intent of your current patterns, let's work together!

I will primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support you in understanding your system and "Parts" to find more inner-peace. I find that IFS, or "Parts work" as it is often called, is effective for folks who haven't had success in fully shaking off old patterns and beliefs despite trying many different types of therapy, and people who intellectually or cognitively "know" what's true, but feel a disconnect in their heart, gut or emotions. I integrate IFS with somatic, mindfulness, cognitive and behavioral approaches, based on what resonates for the person in front of me. The primary driver of my practice is not a specific modality, but your strengths and goals.

I also provide ketamine-assisted therapy. Using ketamine in a therapeutic setting with an attuned therapist can help soften protective systems that can develop due to trauma, and support the creation of new patterns through its neurogenerative properties.

Beginning therapy requires a lot of strength and insight, and I consider it an honor to be a therapist and witness the growth and vulnerability of my clients. My work is driven by social justice and empowerment. I am LGBTQ+ affirming with training and experience ingender affirming care. I also accept Medicare and enjoy working with elders.
