About me
I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, conflict, and life transitions with compassion, practical tools, and advanced training in the Gottman Method.
Life can feel heavy when anxiety, conflict, or old patterns take hold. You may feel stuck, yet still hopeful for something different. I work with individuals and couples who want to find clarity, connection, and steadiness as they move forward.
My Approach
My style is compassionate and practical. I use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and advanced Gottman Method training (Level 3) to help clients understand what’s keeping them stuck and build healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
For couples, this often means slowing down to really listen, rebuilding trust, and creating patterns of communication that feel supportive and lasting. For individuals, it may be about navigating transitions, easing anxiety, or letting go of old patterns that no longer serve you.
My Journey
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a journalist—drawn to listening closely, asking questions, and uncovering the deeper meaning in people’s stories. My own process of healing from childhood trauma and relationship wounds eventually led me to the counseling profession.
I’ve also spent more than twenty years as a wife, raised two boys, and cared for family members. These roles have shaped not only who I am but also how I approach therapy—with compassion, steadiness, and respect for the complexity of each person’s life.
What I Offer
Therapy for individuals facing anxiety, life transitions, and patterns that feel difficult to change.
Therapy for couples who want to strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust using evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method and EFT.
A collaborative approach that honors your experiences while helping you create meaningful change.
