About me
I am a LCPC who provides clients of all ages the space to find deeper meaning in their lives and navigate the challenges that impede personal growth.
I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance use disorders, ADHD, OCD, life transitions and other challenges that impede their ability to thrive. I take a strengths based approach that incorporates CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and EMDR. I see the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for self discovery and acceptance. Clients will leave my office with the skills needed to make changes in their lives along with feelings of empowerment.
I enjoy working with adults of all ages navigating the various seasons of life and I have spent two decades counseling adolescents. I see clients and loved ones of those impacted by addiction using a trauma lens to address underlying issues. Sports performance is a special area of interest where a client will be guided towards their goals with my support.
This journey is not meant to be walked alone. We all have experiences with suffering as a part of the human condition and building connections can be the antidote to emotional pain. When you are able to feel compassion and understanding the space to be vulnerable is created. You will find an openness that allows you to have a greater sense of self.
