About me
I am an experienced licensed mental health counselor who is dedicated to helping adults cope with depression, anxiety and mood disorders.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process that assists clients in gaining the insight necessary to improve their quality of life. I understand it can be difficult to start therapy; I am committed to a safe space and building a therapeutic alliance based on trust, empathy and understanding. I provide a judgement-free, safe space and work to empower clients to explore challenges, create goals and remove the obstacles that stand in their way. I have experience working with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood instability, interpersonal conflict and substance use.
I am certified in dialectical behavior therapy (C-DBT) and use a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities; including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, interpersonal therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
