About me
I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My approach is client-centered, evidence-based, and grounded in creating a relaxed, supportive environment where meaningful growth can happen.
The unavoidable truth is that life is not short; it is the longest thing we will ever do. For that reason, it should be something we engage in wholly (and even like!). If you’ve found yourself here, chances are life’s been throwing a few too many plot twists your way. Maybe you're feeling anxious, burned out, stuck, or just wondering, “Is it normal to ________?” (Spoiler: it almost always is.)
I believe therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating, rigid, or mysterious. Instead, our process can be a place to untangle thoughts, laugh when it helps, and get serious when it matters.
At times, the human experience can be a painful, messy, and overwhelming one. My goal in therapy is to provide a space to explore those things and give them a proper place in our minds, hearts, and stories. If you are looking to strengthen your relationships, achieve a goal, or develop strategies to manage the extraordinary or the everyday things, then counseling is for you. We'll work together to help you create the kind of life you’re looking for.
My personal background is in firefighting, emergency management, and the practice of law. In the counseling field, I have had the true honor of working with folks from many walks of life and in various stages of life, including those seeking help in couples' therapy, substance use recovery, and depression and suicidality.
If you've made it this far in your search, you are already doing the hard part. Take a minute to believe that for yourself. When you're ready, let's do the rest of the work together- I can't wait to be in your corner.
