About me
My goal is to help you become your favorite self. Let me help you discover who that person is and how to start being them, now.
I am Jay Padge (pronounced page), I have studied human behavior for over a decade. I am now a nationally certified and state-licensed professional counselor. I am also a neurodivergence, gender, and sexuality affirming therapist. Helping people learn about themselves and heal from past traumas is what makes what I do worth doing. I am here to help you determine where you want to go on your healing journey. Let's work together to find the root of your concerns, the why of your concerning behaviors, and the ways to help you move through these experiences so you can become your favorite self.
I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each session. I have been trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Nutrition and Mental Health, and I am a certified meditation instructor. I have experience in drug and alcohol counseling, anger management, group therapy, family therapy, art therapy, and music therapy.
To help you do this, I use person-centered therapy to help you feel comfortable in session. Initially, I spend time getting to know you and building rapport with you. From this place of trust, I can build your treatment around what you have chosen to work on. Helping you learn what works for you and how to use the skills you develop.
