About me
I help individuals and couples understand the patterns shaped by their past, build more secure and fulfilling relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns shaped by their past that influence how they think, feel, and connect.
You might be coming in with a clear issue, like relationship struggles, anxiety, or a major life transition. Or you may have a more general sense that something isn’t working, whether that’s in your relationships, your sense of self, or how you’re moving through the world. Therapy can be a space to slow down, develop deeper self-awareness, and begin to shift long-standing patterns.
My approach is relational, insight-oriented, and active. I draw from psychodynamic and relational therapy, which means we pay close attention to patterns that develop over time and how they show up both in your life and in the therapy room. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I will help you name patterns in the moment and, when it’s useful, challenge you in a way that supports growth while maintaining a space where you can be fully honest.
While my work is depth-oriented, I also care about meaningful change in your day-to-day life. This can include building new ways of responding, improving communication, or working more directly with symptoms like anxiety or depression. At times, I may offer specific strategies or things to try between sessions.
I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, including gay men, as well as people navigating non-monogamous relationships and major life transitions. My work is grounded in an understanding of how identity, relationships, and broader social contexts shape our emotional lives.
I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection, curious about their inner world, and willing to engage honestly in the process. Together, our goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and a more authentic and fulfilling way of living.
