About me

I am a trauma-informed therapist who helps clients heal, regulate, and reclaim their lives with mindfulness, evidence-based care, and compassionate human connection.

Life doesn’t always give us power over what happens to us—especially when it comes to trauma or chronic pain—but, as the Stoics remind us, we can learn to shape our response. I help clients do exactly that. Drawing on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with a humanistic, strengths-based approach, I support you in healing old wounds, regulating your nervous system, and finding steadier ground in the “here and now.” Whether you’re navigating trauma, managing chronic pain, or seeking greater emotional balance, we work together to uncover your strengths, build resilience, and integrate mindfulness practices that bring clarity and calm. As Pema Chödrön teaches, “Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.” My goal is to help you gain the tools, perspective, and inner steadiness needed to meet life’s challenges—and to move toward a life with more joy, meaning, and self-trust.

I bring not only formal education, but the kind of deep life experience that cannot be learned from a book. I’ve known darkness and joy. I’ve lost relationships, watched children grow and leave, and mourned the loss of parents. These experiences have shaped my ability to sit with others in their pain and guide them toward hope. I’m grateful you’re here. Let me help you learn, heal, and explore—within a safe, trusted space—so your life can become everything you envision.
