About me
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, creative therapist
I create an inclusive, non-judgmental space for my clients. I am passionate about equality, advocacy and awareness. I've worked with new parents, homeless families, and domestic violence survivors. I've educated youth on healthy relationship dynamics, consent, and communication. Some of my most fulfilling work was with court-appointed juveniles and people impacted by cancer.
I believe my diversity of experiences help me understand and connect with a broad range of people in varying situations. I've worked with many people who experienced trauma and have seen it in different shapes, sizes, and forms. I see therapy as a partnership. I believe strongly in self-determination and utilize a client centered approach with CBT, DBT, and solution-focused techniques while incorporating creativity like art, writing, and play to express feelings.
I began my career in nonprofit agencies and believe every role and every nonprofit, especially every client, prepared me for the intensive, one on one work that private practice allows me to do now. If you're looking for a therapist who listens, empowers, shares resources, and encourages growth, I'd love to help you evolve into the person you aspire to be.
