About me

Janelle is an experienced mental health therapist and co-founder of "Guiding House". Although she deeply enjoys formal education, she feels as though her greatest teacher has been from the "School of Hard Knocks". She helps those who have experienced anxiety, depression, OCD/ADHD, and life adjustments. She has a special interest in working with those affected by a loved one with a personality disorder and/or has gone through emotional abuse.

Janelle is a 2w3 on the enneagram ("The Host"), she designed her practice around the 5 senses of hospitality. Janelle is warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and enjoys finding humor in unexpected places. She uses CBT, DBT, supportive, strengths-based, IFS, and Exposure Therapy modalities along with psychoeducation to help clients with their mental health goals. She is faith-based in her personal life and enjoys adding that into sessions for clients who request spiritual guidance.
