I am a holistic mental health professional, specializing in helping my clients avoid, reduce and eliminate medications by focusing on healing the brain naturally. I work with all ages and provide counseling in addition to IASIS MicroCurrent Neurofeedback to facilitate healing.

The Mind Connection was established in 2021 with the goal of helping clients with mental, emotional and physical conditions heal and find joy in living again. I trained and became one of the first certified IASIS providers (ICP) in Houston in 2019. Very quickly I became enthusiastic about IASIS MicroCurrent Neurofeedback, because it is a game changer! After working with several clients, I also realized that many could benefit from counseling and therapy for trauma in addition to MCN, so I went back to graduate school to become a licensed counselor. Offering these modalities in one session gives you, the client, a more efficient and effective path to healing. I am certified in Brainspotting to assist clients in processing through traumatic experiences with or without counseling. We truly have helped so many heal, get off medications and vastly improve their quality of life, and this is why I do what I do.

My background began with addiction as a parent of a child with substance use disorder in 2017, and I am a licensed chemical dependency counselor as well as a licensed professional counselor associate. I love working with parents and families who are struggling with a loved one who is addicted, and helping those with substance use disorder find hope and healing in recovery. I have facilitated free support group meetings, Parents of Addicted Loved Ones, weekly since 2019. I am a published author and currently writing a book about my experience as a parent of an addicted child.
