About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about helping adults with intense emotions and trauma.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a proud graduate of Saint Mary’s College, where I earned my Bachelor’s of Social Work (BSW) in 2021, and Indiana University, where I completed my Master’s Degree of Social Work (MSW) in 2023.
Since 2018, I have had the honor of supporting individuals in a variety of healthcare settings with diverse challenges such as navigating healing from trauma, advocating for the needs of aging adults and adults with developmental disabilities, supporting survivors of domestic violence and substance abuse, instilling hope to individuals with serious mental health conditions, and adjust to major life changes. When I am not being a therapist, I stay grounded through mindful hikes with my dog Luna, cooking, practicing meditation, seeing live music, reading, playing piano, and spending time with loved ones.
I offer a compassionate, calm, and practical style to nurture the inner gentle strength of the quiet soul. I draw from evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems Informed Therapy (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Through my own periods of transformation, I’ve learned that change is challenging and deeply meaningful. Growth and change are possible with caring support, determination, and courage to be different. It is important to me in my practice to help my clients know that they didn't cause their mental health struggles or trauma. Much of our mental health struggles or trauma come from a lack of safe connection with others and our environment. Through our work together, I hope to help you reconnect with yourself and others at a pace that is comfortable for you so that you may begin to feel safe again and to be able to experience life in a way that you may not have known was possible, Thank you for your bravery and courage in taking a step forward in your journey to come back home to yourself. If this speaks to you, please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to witnessing your transformation.
