I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping adults with intense emotions and trauma for in person individual therapy in Niles, MI and for virtual individual therapy for all of MI and IN with immediate Saturday availability.

You feel like your emotions are too much for other people. You struggle to speak up and feel confident in themselves. As a result, you keep a lot in and just try their best to put a smile on your face to keep going. Often you wonder if other people feel this way or you think that there is something wrong with them for having a big heart and caring too much in a world that seems scary and cruel. It may be difficult to feel connected to others and lonely. You're not sure if anyone really cares as much as you do and you feel so different than how other people seem to be like.

In our work together, I want you to take the steps forward towards being unashamed of who you are. Together we will uncover people pleasing patterns, how to stand up for yourself, but most importantly, how to have compassion for yourself in your entirety of who you are. I want to help you discover and embrace who you are. In our work together, you lead the way. I am not the expert of your life nor do I pretend to be. I want to help you remember that you are who you have always meant to be. I use evidence based techniques to help overcome low self-esteem, trouble communicating with others, understand your emotions, and be able to move forward in your life.
