About me
I am an experienced business professional career changer, with over 15 years experience as a psychologist, and a lifetime of service helping adults live their authentic lives.
In my clinical work as a Doctor of Psychology, I offer telehealth therapy to new and continuing adult clients. My clinical focus centers on treating anxiety and depression disorders, grief and loss, adjustment disorders related to career/employment, relationship issues and life transition issues.
As a mid-life career changer, I have a background of over 20 years as a business executive in management, marketing and consulting. I am now practicing as a psychologist, for over 15 years in multiple locations in Washington State and different clinical venues. My varied professional career history also provides me with a background in career coaching and mentoring supporting clients’ employment issues, career changes, and transitions into retirement.
In therapy, we will explore how our personal history informs us, and how we view others, manage our relationships, and deal with challenges in our life. I employ an integrative therapy approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I work from a strength – based perspective with authenticity to address the difficult parts of the work without judgment. My approach is collaborative; I meet each client where they are, and we work together to identify therapy goals and determine what therapy approach will fit best to achieve them.
