Jane Draimin, LCSW, CASAC

I am a licensed clinical social worker and credentialed alcohol and substance use disorder counselor with over 23 years of experience in the mental health field. I utilize approaches that include mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and, as such, provide a safe space where I work with clients collaboratively to identify and process patterns of behaviors and underlying emotional content. In helping my clients move toward self-acceptance and gain trust in their strengths, I have been fortunate to witness their healing journeys and evolving trust in themselves. Utilizing trauma-informed treatment and empirically supported interventions, I also enjoy bringing innovation to clinical services; I incorporate mindfulness-based stress reduction tools into my practice and have also embraced the importance of honoring the client’s “inner healing intelligence” as an invaluable stance, which was reinforced during psychedelic-assisted therapy training. Throughout my years in the field and working predominantly with the underserved in community-based clinics, I have supported my clients as they addressed complex trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health issues, utilizing a personalized approach dependent upon each client’s unique needs.
