About me
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: life is both beautiful and challenging—and we’re meant to engage fully with both. I’m Jamison Nee, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and the founder of Summit & Flow Counseling and Mental Performance Center. I help adolescents, young adults, student-athletes, and men navigate anxiety, performance pressure, life transitions, and identity struggles with clarity, courage, and purpose.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, my mission is to help people build resilience, reconnect with their values, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and alive. Whether you’re an athlete chasing your personal best, a young adult navigating transitions, or someone feeling stuck beneath the weight of anxiety, my approach is to walk alongside you—not above or ahead, but right beside you.
My journey includes years as a collegiate basketball player, coach, construction worker, and now counselor—experiences that have shaped how I connect with others. I understand the grind of performance, whether it’s on the court, on the job site, or in everyday life. I also understand what it’s like when “working harder” no longer works and lasting change calls for a different kind of approach.
At Summit & Flow, sessions aren’t just therapy—they’re meaningful conversations that equip you to handle life with more flexibility, clarity, and purpose. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), using client values, mindfulness, and evidence-based techniques to help you navigate life’s ups and downs with courage and direction.
My academic background includes a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University. Faith is also an important part of who I am. While I only integrate spirituality into therapy when a client desires it, I strive to live out values of integrity, perseverance, and humility in every session.
People often tell me they walk away from our work together seeing life—and themselves—in a whole new way. My hope is that you leave feeling not only understood but empowered, with practical skills to help you thrive well beyond our time together.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me coaching high school basketball, spending time with my wife and dog, deep in a good book on faith and psychology, or simply enjoying the small, meaningful moments that make life rich.
