About me
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I am passionate about creating a safe, affirming, and empowering space for LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals, polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, and people from all walks of life seeking deeper understanding, meaningful connections, and inner healing. My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that everyone deserves support tailored to their unique journey.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in LGBT Studies and Child and Family Development from San Diego State University. Beyond my work in private practice, I have had the privilege of training other professionals in trans and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, founding and facilitating a collective group of integrative professionals called OC Therapists & Healers Connect, serving as a mental health provider and Assistant Clinical Professor for UCI’s Gender Diversity Program, supporting teens with mental health and substance use challenges at 417 Recovery, and providing care through California Family Institute’s community non-profit clinic.
I specialize in working with individuals and relationships across the gender, sexuality, and relational spectrums. Whether you’re exploring your gender identity, navigating the unique dynamics of polyamorous/ENM partnerships, or or seeking a deeper connection with yourself and your relationships, I strive to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported—a space where you can find comfort, healing, and the safety to begin to thrive.
My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe healing happens when we honor all aspects of who we are—our thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and personal narratives. I am trauma-informed and draw from a blend of practices, including narrative therapy, positive psychology, existential therapy, inner child work, mindfulness-based treatment, client-centered techniques, and mind-body psychotherapy. My holistic perspective allows us to address not only challenges but also the underlying patterns and systems that shape your well-being. I honor the uniqueness of each person and relationship, tailoring our work to your specific needs and goals. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, nurture self-compassion, and cultivate tools to foster growth in a way that feels authentic to you.
As someone who has been “on the other side of the couch,” — I see you. I know what it feels like to be in deep pain, unable to imagine what life could look like on the other side of it. My work is not only informed by my professional expertise but also by my personal journey of healing. I’ve walked the path of finding my identity, mending the wounds of trauma and relationships, navigating the grief of unexpected loss and change, and ultimately rediscovering a connection to life, love, and myself. I know the courage it takes to embark on this journey, and I am here to support you every step of the way, no matter how heavy it gets.
I offer remote video teletherapy sessions for residents across California, allowing you to access support conveniently and privately from your home or another space where you feel most at ease.
Your story matters, and your mental health deserves care that truly understands and supports you. Let’s work together to create a life that aligns with your values, nurtures your passions, and brings you a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or connection, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.
