About me
I am dedicated to supporting couples, individuals, and families in identifying and harnessing their strengths. Whether you are preparing to say "I do," navigating life’s challenges, or coping with a recent dementia diagnosis for yourself or a loved one, it’s common to feel isolated. I want to assure you that you are not alone on this journey. I invite you to explore the healing and growth that can emerge from our therapeutic partnership. With 25 years of experience working with caregivers and individuals affected by dementia, I am here to guide you through this process.
You will receive compassionate support and guidance as you navigate life's challenges. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I offer a unique perspective that emphasizes the importance of relationships and family systems. I have seen firsthand the detrimental effects of ineffective communication and denial within families, and I am equipped to address a wide range of issues impacting relationships. My commitment is to help families enhance their communication and interaction patterns, fostering healthier connections. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner since March 2016 and a Dementia Specialist since 2006, I focus on supporting clients affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, providing compassionate and effective therapy.
I provide individual counseling for those struggling with personal issues that affect their relationships. You will find yourself in a safe and supportive environment, where you can work through challenges and develop healthy coping strategies. I also offer premarital counseling services that are designed to help couples build a strong foundation before they say their "I dos" by identifying potential areas of conflict and developing strategies to resolve them before they escalate. Additionally, with my couples counseling services, I aim to improve communication and assist in resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. I take joy in working with couples to uncover the root causes of their challenges and develop strategies to overcome them. Together, we can embark on a journey toward healing and growth.
