About me

Hi, I’m Jaime (she/her). I’m a trauma therapist trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and identity-affirming care. I bring clinical expertise, lived experience, and a gentle presence my work. I like to call myself a “marshmallow therapist”—soft, kind, and approachable, but fully equipped to help you face the hard stuff and heal deeply. My clients range from ages 10 to 100, and I accept most insurance plans, including Medical Assistance and Medicare.

Do you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in a cycle of self-doubt? You strive to do more, be better—but it never quite feels like enough. If change were simple, we’d all be thriving. The truth is, you don’t lack potential—you may just need the right tools. Seeking relief isn’t selfish; it’s human.

I specialize in supporting trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ individuals, teens and young adults, people with disabilities, and anyone navigating anxiety or self-criticism. Together, we’ll work to transform pain into clarity, build emotional resilience, and help you reconnect with your authentic self. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about empowering you to live in alignment with who you are and who you want to become.

My practice focuses on treating trauma, which I define as any overwhelming experience that continues to echo through your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, or body. Whether it shows up as anxiety, sleep disturbances, low self-worth, or physical symptoms, we’ll work together to understand how it’s affecting your life today. From there, we’ll co-create a treatment plan that reflects your goals and strengths. I’ll be a steady, supportive presence—both guide and cheerleader—as you do the courageous work of healing.

I have immediate availability for in-person (St. Louis Park) or telehealth (anywhere in Minnesota) sessions. Feel free to call, text, or email to say hello and I'll take it from there. Curious, but not quite sure if we'll be a fit? Ask me about scheduling a free 15-minute consultation.
