About me
I am an experienced therapist with over twenty two years in the mental health field dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, PTSD, and recover from eating disorders.
Hi, I’m Dr. Jacqui Grantland (she/her), I’m so glad you took the first step look at my bio! With over 22 years of experience as a counselor, I know that everyone’s story matters and deserves to be heard. Your journey is unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
I have a Ph.D in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University and a M.Ed from Texas Tech University and have been practicing since 2003. I am the owner and founder of Inner Peace Therapeutic Services, where we have several skilled clinicians who are trained in different modalities to meet the clients needs. At IPTS, we believe in creating a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you feel truly heard, respected, and valued. Whether you’re seeking to heal from past trauma, navigate a better relationship with food and your body, strengthening connections with loved ones, or find clarity and purpose in your life, We're here to support you every step of the way.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches—like EMDR, CBT, CPT, Hypnotherapy, and TF-CBT—so we can specialize our time together to meet your specific needs. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, with a focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters on trust and self-discovery to help you achieve your authentic self.
As a U.S. Air Force veteran and the spouse of a career Air Force veteran, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the military community. Whether you’re active duty, retired, or a military family member, you’ll find a space where your experiences are understood and your needs are met with care and compassion.
I’m also passionate about helping individuals who struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating. Using the Health at Every Size (HAES) model, I provide a nonjudgmental and empowering environment where we focus on building a positive relationship with your body and food. My role as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) ensures that you’ll receive expert, compassionate care on this journey.
Beyond working with clients, I’m deeply committed to mentoring future counselors and therapists. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) supervisor, I provide guidance and supervision to graduate and post-graduate LGPCs, helping them grow into confident, skilled clinicians.
Taking the first step toward healing can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I invite you to reach out and explore how we can work together. Let’s take this journey toward inner peace, one step at a time.
