About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I graduated from Cambridge College in 2002, with a Masters in Education, with a focus on Marriage and Family therapy and Mental Health Counseling. I have been in private practice since graduation and have worked in various positions. I am also currently working at Southcoast Hospital Groups, Charlton Memorial Campus, as crisis clinician in the Emergency Department. I also am an adjunct faculty member at Fisher College and Bristol Community College, with a focus on teaching students who are earning their Bachelors degree in Psychology or Human Services. I have taught crisis intervention, Counseling Patrice and Policy, Research Methods, Statistics, Psychology of Personality. I enjoy working with people and it is alot of fun to see people who have benefited from receiving outpatient mental health treatment. I use a solution focused approach, together, we look at the here and now and try to find the bast way to tackle the presenting issue. I enjoy working with many folks from different walks of life, couples therapy, individual therapy, men's health issue, immigration issues and oncology. I am fluent in Arabic with a Lebanese dialect, as I immigrated to the USA as a child, I am fluent in Arabic but do not read or write Arabic.
