About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults—particularly women—heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, and reconnect with their confidence, values, and sense of purpose.
Aloha! I'm Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin working toward meaningful change.
I specialize in supporting adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and struggles with self-worth and empowerment. I especially enjoy working with women who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, heal from past experiences, and build a life that feels more aligned with who they are and what they value.
My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR and TF-CBT, along with other therapeutic interventions based on your individual needs. I also enjoy incorporating creative and expressive techniques, including art therapy-informed interventions, when they are helpful and appropriate.
For clients who desire it, I offer Christian faith-integrated therapy. I believe faith can be an important source of meaning, strength, and hope, and I am committed to honoring each client's beliefs and values without judgment or pressure. I also offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
Our work together will be tailored to you. We’ll identify your goals, build practical coping tools, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward healing and greater confidence. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you not only process what you've been through, but also discover your strengths and feel empowered to move forward.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve never been in counseling before. During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and discussing what you hope to accomplish. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out—I’ll meet you where you are.
