About me
I enjoy working with adolescents (16+) and adults who could be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, school/work stress, or other forms of emotional and behavioral distress. My area of specialty is depression and anxiety. Through controlling our thought processes and focusing on things that we can control, we are able to keep our minds centered and push forward. I believe that providing a non judgmental, warm, and empathetic, environment for clients to explore their concerns and develop helpful coping skills in a safe space while being their authentic selves.
My counseling style is person-centered, integrating interventions from cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy with a focus on mindfulness. Every client deserves a therapy experience that caters to their specific needs.
