About me
I'm here for you. I want to help and support you. As an experienced psychotherapist of 15 years, I am dedicated to helping you improve your mental health, overall wellness, and quality of life.
The willingness to work on yourself by investing in yourself and doing the hard work is what real self-care is about. It's not a self-indulgence because therapy work doesn't come easy and effortlessly. Self-care is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and therapy can be just one aspect of how you care for yourself and are able to show up for others. It takes a certain level of self-awareness and courage to know you need help, to seek it, and to accept it. Life can bring happiness and it can bring pain. Therapy can help you navigate any situation you are struggling with by compassionately guiding you through your most difficult emotions to get unstuck and feel better. We start where you are and take it from there.
My name is Dr. Jacqueline Ashley and I hold two graduate degrees—a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW), both from the University of Southern California. I also received my undergraduate degree there. I would be happy to speak with you for a free consultation, so contact me and let's talk about what you need and how I can help.
