Jacob Sheehan

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in private practice at Sandstone Counseling in Green, OH. I specialize in helping individuals who are relatively stable in their trauma recovery journey by using IFS/Parts work and EMDR trauma reprocessing. I help individuals develop a more secure internal attachment with themselves (learn to separate from, dialogue with, validate, and nurture all parts of yourself) and transform trauma memories from something burdensome to something adaptive that helps them to thrive more in daily living and relationships.

I am passionate about healing through relating to yourself in an increasingly more compassionate, patient, and nurturing way. I use my training in IFS/Parts work, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help individuals who are in recovery from trauma develop a more secure internal attachment with themselves and reprocess trauma memories.
