About me
LPC-IT
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of WI-Milwaukee, and my first Masters of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Ottawa University in 2010. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a projected graduation date of March 2023.
I have a true passion and drive to serve the community that I live in, both the visible community, and the invisible. What this means to me is that, I want to work with the wonderful diverse population of Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Washington Counties, but I also want to take special care of my invisible community, the LGBTQ+* Community.
I specialize in LGBTQ+* counseling and life coaching for individuals considering or going through major life change for any client ages 11 and up.
Areas of Clinical Interest: LBGTIQA*+ Issues, Life Transitions, Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma
Summary: For me, the first and most important thing I can possibly know about you is how you want to feel at the very end of our therapeutic relationship. You might wonder why that is so important to me, and the answer is as simple and complex as this: When you tell me where you want to go, I will invest energy and resources during our time together to make sure that we are moving towards that goal in each and every session. Along the way, we will face challenges together, but I will also call out strengths and remind you just how many resources you have in your life. Ultimately, I know that I have done my best when you have achieved your goals at the end of the process.
I look forward to working with you!
