About me
I am an experienced (over 40 years) Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Personal development and individuation in addressing issues and challenges in One's life is the frame I use. My approach is one of psychological wholeness with training and experience in Jungian psychology, Sexual counseling and a Systems approach to interpersonal relationships. A particular interest in creating and fostering integration of psychedelic experiences from a Jungian perspective and healthy polyamorous relationships from the perspective of and rooted in psychological wholeness.
I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin, did factory and construction work. I did volunteer work on a crisis line, with a support group dealing with sexual abuse, and at a homeless shelter. I did my personal work, which included individual, couple and group therapy, including a gestalt encounter group, sex therapy, and 9 years and over 300 hours in Jungian analysis.
I have a certificate in Women Studies from UW-Madison, MSSW, 1 year of post graduate training in Family Therapy and theory, 1 year of post graduate training and theory in the treatment of sexual offending, 2 years as an analyst in training at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago.
Professionally as a clinical social worker I did 4 years of work in support of those who are challenged by chronic mental illness, 11 years as a psychotherapist at a rural county Human Services agency, 5 years counseling at my 1/4-time private practice and 23 years as a clinical treatment foster care social worker. I have provided services to individuals and couples with issues around relationships, sexuality, communication, spirituality and abuse.
I am an ordained Neo-Pagan priest and co-founder of Sweetwood Temenos, a 501c.3 church of 24 years. I have experienced divorce and am currently in a happy and polyamorous marriage of 30 years, have a son and granddaughter.
I bring a great deal of breath and depth through personal and professional growth, development and experience in providing psychological services. I would like to offer this service to those seeking to address psychological issues and challenges within the framework of personal growth. I am offering services online via Zoom.
