About me
I work in the Atlanta area online or in person, specializing in working with couples that are experiencing conflict that may have resulted from the loss of emotional connection or resentment and I specialize in working with individuals that are trying to feel more connected and empowered in their life.
As a Gottman-trained therapist, I use Emotionally Focused techniques to help couples identify their core issues and work through them to restore friendship and rebuild a healthier and more connected relationship. I also use a Family Systems-based approach to counseling couples, families, and individuals which helps to change negative relationship patterns and belief systems. You can depend on me to provide a safe space to share your deepest feelings with compassion, empathy, and respect. Sessions are designed to support your emotional needs and help you unpack emotions that may be caused by coping with depression, anxiety, grief, co-parenting, divorce, body image, parenting, self-esteem, racial identity, trauma, spirituality, and workplace concerns.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy. As a Marriage and Family therapist, former elementary educator, and entrepreneur, I am committed to continuous training to provide a dynamic, integrative, and holistic approach to mental health.
