About me
I am an experienced LMFT dedicated to helping children and adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and relationship challenges develop resilience, confidence, and emotional balance.
As a PsyD and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe therapy is not only about reducing symptoms, but also about helping people better understand themselves, heal from painful experiences, and create meaningful and lasting change. I strive to meet clients where they are emotionally, with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment, while helping them move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and balance.
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, perfectionism, people-pleasing patterns, relationship difficulties, mood disorders, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns rooted in shame, fear, or past experiences. Together, we work to better understand these patterns and create healthier ways of coping, communicating, and relating to self and others. I also have extensive experience working with chronic and severe mental health conditions, including bipolar disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, PTSD, and complex mood-related challenges.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, trauma-informed care, attachment-focused work, and self-compassion approaches. I am also trained in the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol for trauma treatment. My PsyD training, combined with my clinical and life experiences, allows me to provide therapy that is both insightful and practical. I value helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while also developing tools they can apply in their daily lives and relationships.
Before becoming a therapist, I studied computer science and later transitioned into psychology after recognizing the importance of emotional healing and human connection. My diverse personal and professional background allows me to bring empathy, structure, cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and a deeper understanding of human behavior into the therapeutic process.
I aim to create a supportive therapeutic space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore difficult emotions openly, strengthen their sense of self-worth, and build more fulfilling and connected lives.
