About me
I am a licensed clinical therapist and believe therapy is a way for individuals to connect and access their own wisdom to make the changes for a life that is most inspiring and fulfilling. Healing trauma puts us back in touch with who we really are and allows us to reconnect and build strong relationships. No one deserves to feel shameful, unworthy, or unwanted, and my own life experiences have shaped my ability to offer safety and compassion to everyone wherever they currently are in life.
I have six years of experience working as a substance use counselor and four years of experience working with eating disorders. I am a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP), IFS informed EMDR certified and ART. I use a holistic, mind and body approach that invites all our parts into the healing process, creating opportunities for change and growth.
Depending on the individual and situation, I combine elements of , DBT, CBT, ACT, DNMS, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Solution Focus, motivational interviewing, shame resilience and Self-compassion to offer the most effective and personalized approach to healing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships issues and other mental health concerns.
