About me
I recognize that everyone has a difficult time navigating emotions. Emotions are a part of the human experience, and are sourced from our brain structure, and yet it seems culturally across the globe we as humans have vilified our emotions and tried to extinguish them. However this only further traps us in a cycle of confusion and powerlessness where anxiety causes every option to seems worse than the other. I work on dismantling the fear of emotion in order to liberate you from the constraints of anxiety and reactivity. By using Emotionally Focused Therapy, I help you integrate your sensations, emotions, cognitions, and behaviors which allows you to transcend your anxieties and tap into a more flexible and creative mind-set. Through our work together you will learn to navigate your emotions with ease and foster a sense of agency and empowerment. As your anxiety dissipates you will be able to explore life with more vigor, confidence, and empathy.
