About me
Are you feeling stressed or anxious? Or have you been wounded by someone or an event? Are you holding onto anger and resentment that is affecting your current relationships? A safe space is waiting for you, a place where you can examine and heal from past traumatic experiences. You can heal and transform, and I can help! I will support you in learning to adopt a growth mindset that safely matches your transformative aspirations.
I am dually licensed as a Professional Counselor and an Alcohol Counselor. As a culturally responsive behavioral professional, I have over 20 years of experience. I work collaboratively and strategically with diverse individuals, families and couples, respecting their specific cultures and values. Behavioral and collaborative therapies and biblical principles inform my approach, thereby ensuring each client’s unique needs are met.
My academic preparation is as follows: Master Arts Degree in Counseling, Two-year Advanced Certificate in Internal Family System Theory, and a Certificate of Achievement in the Addiction Treatment of Military & Veteran Culture.
