About me
I am a dedicated Licensed Psychologist who helps adults navigate life transitions, anxiety, trauma, and identity concerns with warmth, clarity, and evidence-based support.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin therapy. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or worn down by the expectations you carry, wondering how you got here and what comes next. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, managing anxiety or depression, or carrying the weight of trauma or identity-related stress, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and realign.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels true to you. My work focuses on helping adults reconnect with themselves and build lives that feel more grounded, intentional, and aligned with their values.
I’m a Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based care. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and integrate tools from DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Written Exposure Therapy. Together, we’ll clarify what matters most to you, identify what’s getting in the way, and develop flexible strategies that support healing and lasting growth.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel caught between stages of life or between cultural, personal, or professional identities. My work is especially attuned to those moving through cultural complexity and seeking clarity about who they are becoming.
As someone who is both Sinhalese and White, I understand the experience of navigating multiple cultural worlds. I don’t assume shared experience, but I hold deep respect for the ways culture, history, and identity shape how we see ourselves and relate to others.
Many of the people I work with describe themselves as thoughtful, sensitive, or often tuned in to the needs of others, but not always to their own. You might be someone who looks fine on the outside but feels stuck, tired, or unsure of who you are underneath the roles you carry. Therapy can help you reconnect with your own voice, needs, and values.
In session, I’ll meet you with warmth and presence. I don’t rush insight or push quick fixes. Instead, we’ll stay curious about what’s showing up in your life, what feels hard to carry, and what kind of life you want to build. You’ll gain tools to help regulate emotion, approach challenges with more flexibility, and make intentional shifts in your day-to-day life.
The name of my practice, Mosaic Psychotherapy, reflects the belief that we’re made up of many different parts: experiences, identities, values, wounds, and strengths. Healing isn’t about discarding any of them, but about integrating them into something whole, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
I offer virtual therapy for adults throughout California. Sessions are $250, and I accept payment through Ivy Pay. I provide superbills and partner with Thrizer to support out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Evening and Saturday appointments are available to fit your schedule.
If something in this resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit.
