About me

My name is Hosea and I specialize in working with individuals navigating loss, high-stress experiences, and deeper questions about direction and purpose. My background as a Special Forces combat veteran and former first responder has shaped how I understand trauma, not just clinically, but through firsthand experience. For over a decade, I’ve worked in environments where I supported individuals during some of the most difficult, vulnerable, and immediate moments of their lives. I believe therapy is not just about techniques, but about partnership, trust, safety, and the ability to engage honestly in a safe space.

My approach is guided by trauma-informed care, psychoanalytic therapy, narrative therapy, existential therapy, and motivational interviewing. This allows us to not only address symptoms but also explore the deeper impact and discover how identity is formed, relationships are built, and meaning is made.
At the core of my work is the therapeutic relationship. The way I show up in session reflects my belief and understanding that we are complex, adaptive, and shaped by circumstances we often did not choose. I’m glad you’re searching for support and it would be a privilege to work with you.
