About me
I will partner with you in order for you to develop the skills necessary to make meaningful emotional, behavioral, and life changes.
Hello, I'm Holly, and I believe that achieving and maintaining mental health is as important as maintaining one's physical health.
My ideal client is someone who desires to make changes in their life but may not yet know how. I will be a partner with you on your road to self-improvement, self-discovery, and personal empowerment. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to make the commitment to themselves to do the work necessary to implement change. Together, we will develop the self-awareness needed to identify obstacles that prevent you from leading your most fulfilling life.
Respecting your individual needs, abilities, and current progress in your mental health journey, I tailor my therapeutic approach to match your unique situation. I believe that developing healthy boundaries both inside and outside of the therapeutic process will allow you to lay a foundation that will propel you forward on your path to mental wellness.
I do not believe that a client has to be in therapy for an indefinite period of time. In some instances, meaningful changes can be made in a shorter period of time. My job is to equip you with the necessary skills to thrive in your life while minimizing the amount of time you remain in treatment.
I work with people facing a variety of life challenges. My areas of expertise include mood disorders (depression/anxiety), psychosis (thought disorders), personality disorders, and substance use disorders. I have extensive experience working with military veterans dealing with substance use disorders, anxiety, and trauma/PTSD. Additionally, I specialize in working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, both juvenile and adult. I provide treatment to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, families, and groups.
The therapy process is a collaborative one. Together, we will identify your needs, establish treatment goals, and work to develop new, healthy thought processes and behaviors. I look forward to working with you on this journey to mental wellness.
