About me
Clients come to me when they are feeling overwhelmed with life’s responsibilities and are having a difficult time managing their emotional responses. My goal is to provide a safe space to help you navigate your inner most thoughts and feelings while working together to help you gain a better sense of understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your experiences.
Life is hard and sometimes painful, but you don't have to carry the burden alone. Healing is possible, change is possible. Effective therapy begins with increasing awareness of how your experiences, beliefs, expectations, influences, and past traumas have played a role in your development. When we are confronted with the hard truth that our past has led us to thinking and behaving in ways that no longer serve us, we can begin the process of change. Therapeutic change comes not just from the insights you discover in session but from integrating what you learn into everyday life. You’ll leave the therapy sessions with tools and strategies to help you stay on track, move forward with your life, and successfully navigate any obstacles along your journey. My hope is that you will leave session with a different perspective and a brighter outlook on your future.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are experiencing challenges and are interested in healing and creating lives and relationships that thrive. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016 and have worked with diverse populations in correctional, medical, and private practice settings, treating anxiety, depression, and extensive trauma. I believe strongly that old wounds can be healed and relational patterns can be rewired for lasting and loving connections.
