About me
Welcome. I’m an empathetic, compassionate and experienced therapist who believes that meaningful change begins when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, grief, trauma-related concerns, and challenges with confidence, identity, and personal growth.
My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and tailored to you as an individual. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I take time to understand what you are experiencing, what may be contributing to the difficulties you are facing, and what you would like to change. Together, we can explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviours while developing realistic strategies that you can use in everyday life.
Depending on your needs and goals, I draw upon evidence-informed therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness-based strategies, and psychoeducation. I can support you in understanding difficult emotions, challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, strengthening boundaries, improving communication, developing healthier coping strategies, and building greater confidence and emotional resilience.
You may particularly benefit from working with me if you find yourself overthinking, worrying excessively, putting other people's needs before your own, struggling to set boundaries, feeling emotionally exhausted, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, or feeling stuck despite knowing that something in your life needs to change.
I aim to create a therapeutic space that is respectful, non-judgmental, culturally sensitive, and psychologically safe. Therapy with me is not simply about talking through problems; it is also about helping you understand yourself more deeply and giving you practical tools that can support meaningful and sustainable change.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are unsure where to begin. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. We can begin with what feels most important to you and work at a pace that feels manageable, with the aim of helping you move towards greater clarity, confidence, emotional wellbeing, and a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
