About me
I prioritize building trusting, supportive relationships with clients by offering a client-centered, holistic approach tailored to individual needs. My counseling style is grounded in compassion and curiosity, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore a meaningful path forward. I utilize evidence-based techniques with flexibility to incorporate faith and spirituality when personally valued.
With over ten years of experience, I am passionate about supporting growth, healing, and personal transformation. I bring a deep appreciation for life, nature, creativity, and human connection into my work. Throughout my career, I have supported clients across outpatient and hospital settings, addressing a wide range of mental health and life challenges. I specialize in working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, women’s issues, and life transitions.
As a first-generation American, personal experiences with adversity have shaped a strong understanding of resilience and adaptability, which informs my work in every session. I am deeply committed to cultural competence and have extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing personalized care that honors each person’s unique cultural context. My therapeutic style is active, client-centered, and holistic, blending evidence-based strategies with a trauma-informed perspective that supports healing of the mind, body, and spirit. I believe in the power of connection, empathy, and emotional safety, and I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, respectful, and open. Clients often describe sessions as warm, nonjudgmental, and easy to engage in.
One of my greatest strengths is building meaningful connections and creating a safe, supportive environment where concerns can be explored openly. I primarily work with adults (18+) navigating life challenges, transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, or a desire to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I believe in empowering clients to gain clarity around personal needs and goals, allowing for a collaborative and effective therapeutic process. I also bring flexibility in my approach, integrating a range of evidence-based techniques—including traditional talk therapy, trauma-informed care, and mind–body practices—tailored to each individual’s unique journey.
Seeking change takes courage, and I am honored to walk alongside clients on the path toward growth, healing, and a more meaningful life.
Together, we may explore past and present experiences to gain insight into thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, while developing practical coping strategies to manage symptoms and navigate life’s challenges. While the work we do is thoughtful and meaningful, I also create a relaxed yet active therapeutic space where healing can be creative, incorporating tools such as movement and mind–body techniques to support overall wellness. Above all, I respect each client’s pace and collaborate closely to create a safe, supportive environment for healing, growth, and progress toward wellness goals.
