About me
As a dually board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), I bring a unique and holistic perspective to my practice. I don't just see a set of symptoms; I see the deep connection between your mental and physical health.
I believe effective care requires looking at the whole picture—the deep connection between our minds, bodies, and life experiences. As a trilingual (Portuguese and Spanish) provider, board-certified in both psychiatric and family care, I offer a uniquely holistic perspective on your well-being.
Through personalized, secure, and confidential virtual care, I help adults (ages 18-64) explore these connections and find a path forward. My mission is to provide a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where all parts of who you are is welcomed. We will work together to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions, combining thoughtful medication management (if needed) with therapeutic support. I understand the unique pressures that come from navigating different cultures and the courage it takes to live a life that feels true to you. You deserve a space where every part of your story is not only heard but deeply understood. Our goal is to build your resilience, foster self-acceptance, and empower you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life. If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, I’d be honored to support you.
I am passionate about providing a validating space and developing evidence-based treatment plans that foster lasting wellness. I believe in shared decision-making and will ensure you are informed and comfortable with your treatment plan. My prescribing philosophy centers on using safe, effective, and evidence-based options to support your long-term mental health. I prioritize non-habit-forming medications that work alongside therapy to build sustainable wellness. This approach is rooted in developing coping skills and wellness strategies that empower you for a lifetime.
My practice is a space for those who feel like they are running a marathon every single day. This might look like a loop of 'what-if' scenarios and persistent worry; a heaviness that makes even small tasks feel monumental; feeling overwhelmed by work, school, or family responsibilities; or navigating a major life change, like a new job, a move, or shifting relationships. My ideal client is someone who, despite their struggles, holds onto a glimmer of hope that things can get better. You are ready to work with a compassionate professional who can help you understand the "why" behind your feelings and develop a plan to find your way back to yourself. If you are looking for more than just a quick fix—if you are seeking lasting change and a provider who will support you holistically—then we may be a great fit!
