About me
I am an experienced mental health therapist that helps adults and children with anxiety, depression and trauma.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I began my practice and education at Brigham Young University. I am originally from the country of Panama and I am fluent in Spanish. Over the years I have worked with Child Protective Services, where I have helped created and managed a summer school program for children with various mental illnesses.
I specialize in working with teens with behavioral issues, stage of life problems, and experiencing any trauma or loss. I also specializes in working with women who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I also enjoys working with couples. I focus on trauma-focus therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, grief counseling, adoption related therapy, coping skills for anxiety, and communication skills.
