About me
Hello. I'm Heather! I'm a License Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I have worked with children from age 5 to adults struggling with various mental health diagnoses. I especially enjoy helping those work towards recovery from addiction as well as people working to address their trauma.
I've worked in community mental health for almost 9 years throughout many different roles. I work to be client centered-(what goals do you want to work on?). I want us to explore this question so that I can best help you. I want to help you have those "aha" moments and feel better. I utilize evidence based practices such as CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT( dialectical behavior therapy), and have been trained in TF-CBT(Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy). I complete sessions via telehealth only.
