About me
I am a trauma-informed counselor dedicated to helping women and couples heal from painful experiences, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier, more connected lives.
Life can leave us carrying things we were never meant to carry alone. Maybe you’ve experienced trauma, betrayal, loss, anxiety, or a relationship that has left you questioning yourself and wondering how to move forward. You may look like you’re holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without judgment and begin working toward meaningful, lasting change.
I work primarily with adult women and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, betrayal, grief, major life transitions, and struggles with self-worth. I especially enjoy helping clients understand how past experiences continue to influence their emotions, relationships, and responses in the present.
My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative. I incorporate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method principles for couples. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we can explore what is underneath them and help you develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and the people who matter most to you.
For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable integrating Christian faith into the counseling process. Faith can be an important source of meaning, hope, and healing, but it is always incorporated according to your preferences and goals.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel both supported and challenged. We may work through painful experiences, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, strengthen boundaries, build healthier relationships, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start with where you are and work together toward where you want to be.
