About me
I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor well equipped to work with a wide range of clients who are dealing with different types of challenges. I am comfortable working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, divorce recovery, sexual abuse recovery, family/marital stress and adjustment difficulties.
Heather O’Flaherty earned her MA in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Heather was a Registered Behavior Technician and has over eight years experience doing behavior therapy with children who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Heather’s experience gives her insight into the challenges that families with a special needs child face and allows her to provide a safe place to explore and process those feelings. Heather is a certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator for pre-marital counseling. She is comfortable working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, divorce recovery, sexual abuse recovery, and family/marital stress.
Heather is also well equipped to work with a wide range of clients who are dealing with other different types of challenges. She is comfortable working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, divorce recovery, sexual abuse recovery, family/marital stress and adjustment difficulties.
