About me
I am an experienced licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping teens, adults, families, and couples feel seen, heard, and understood.
The first step in developing any therapeutic relationship is building trust. I believe that one of my strengths is the ability to form relationships and build trust with individuals. I have a very down to earth nature that I believe allows individuals to feel comfortable to discuss the most protected and vulnerable parts of themselves. It is through a trusting, therapeutic alliance that real change can begin.
Prior to moving on to private practice I worked with various populations over my 24 year career. I have worked with children, teens, adults and older adults. I have worked with populations and in settings such as a PHP for youth/teens, short term crisis residence, juvenile justice/residential facilities, child welfare, Older Adult protective services, aging, and adults with disabilities. I have a holistic approach and believe that the mind, body, and spiritual aspects of a person’s life all require balance and attention for overall wellness. I will meet you where you are at and gently challenge you to reframe your thoughts so that you can see your true potential and strengths.
