About me
I help adults reclaim their mental well-being with an integrative, whole-person approach—combining compassionate care, smart medication management, and trauma-informed therapy. No rushed visits here—just real support for lasting wellness.
So... what’s it really like to work with me?
I’m so glad you asked!
Working with me means you’re getting more than credentials (though I’ve got those too—20+ years in healthcare, advanced training in ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and the unique challenges of early adulthood and perinatal mental health). But more importantly? You’re getting someone real. Someone who shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and walks beside you every step of the way.
I’m an Enneagram 1 wing 2 (so I care... deeply... but also get stuff done). I’d probably be sorted into Ravenclaw—though Gryffindor would make a strong case. I read constantly, especially things that make me laugh, and I farm vicariously through my husband. “We” raise our own meat, and I dream of adding bees and a hydroponic garden when life slows down. I’m in charge of the houseplants. Pray for them.
Oh, and you might meet my pets on a call: my cat (soothing), my one dog (judgy and not qualified as a therapy dog), and the other one (sweet but... very into rocks and kind of stinky).
What does care look like here?
You’ll get thoughtful, evidence-based care that blends the best of integrative psychiatry with a whole-person, trauma-informed approach. Every session is collaborative and tailored to you—because your story, values, and goals matter. My style is active, curious, and nonjudgmental. We’ll work hard—but never alone.
You’ll never get a rushed, one-size-fits-all appointment. I offer longer visits because change takes time, and you deserve space to be heard and understood.
When it comes to medication...
You deserve options that are safe, effective, and tolerable—not just "better than nothing." We won’t repeat what hasn’t worked, and we definitely won’t throw darts in the dark. You’ll always understand what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what to expect. I’ll help you build a short-term and long-term plan that works for your life and your body.
Therapy + Support
My sessions are eclectic and practical—you’ll leave with tools, insight, and a plan. I check in regularly to see what’s working and what needs adjusting. You won’t be spinning your wheels. Instead, you’ll have a trained partner helping you make meaningful, measurable progress.
We’ll laugh, we’ll talk about the hard stuff, and we’ll stay grounded in what matters most—your recovery and growth.
A few more things...
I value honesty over perfection. I’ll say the hard thing with kindness, always.
I believe your time is valuable—and I’ll make sure our time together reflects that.
I know what it’s like to be in the sandwich generation, to hate running but need it, to live with the tension of ambition and burnout. You’re not alone here.
If you're ready for a mental health journey that's compassionate, customized, and grounded in both science and real-life humanity—welcome. I’m here for it. Let’s get to work.
